DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department received the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy award at the June 17 police commission meeting.

The department is the first law enforcement agency in Pennsylvania and the 13th in the country to receive the award. It was presented by Shaun Honts from the Malvern office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The award is given to police agencies when all supervisors have successfully passed all three core education programs that provide intensive instruction in leadership, management concepts and practices faced by law enforcement professionals.
