Central Bucks SAT Scores Among Region's Highest, 2019 Data Shows
Students from Central Bucks high schools earned some of the area's highest average SAT scores in 2019.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Students at Central Bucks High School West earned the highest composite SAT score in Bucks County, new data released by the state shows.
The Pennsylvania Department of Education this week released the 2019 SAT scores for all public high schools in the state.
The average composite score for students at Central Bucks West was 1213.4 in 2019. Students there earned an 611 average in math and a 602.4 average in reading and writing.

Central Bucks East was close behind with an average composite score of 1210. Students at East earned a 608.5 average in math and a 601.5 average in reading and writing. The average composite score for students at South was 1165.3.

According to the Princeton Review, the average score in 2018 was 1068.
The highest-scoring school in the state was Julia R. Masterman in Philadelphia, where the average score was 1402.9.
Other high scoring Philadelphia area schools include Conestoga High School, where students averaged a 1267 score, and Lower Merion High School, where the average score was 1246.
Other Bucks County high schools that had an average score of 1200 or above include Council Rock North at 1203.7 and New Hope-Solebury at 1205.
