Central Bucks Schools Closing Early Wednesday Due To Winter Storm
Elementary students will be dismissed early and secondary students will attend classes as part of their normal virtual routine.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks School District will run on an early in-person schedule on Wednesday for the safety of students and staff due to a mid-week winter storm that's expected to impact travel and road conditions in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Snow and gusty winds are expected to move into the region Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service, with up to a foot of snow possible for the Doylestown area and up to 18 inches of snow predicted for some northern Philadelphia suburbs.

Latest Storm Forecast: 18 Inches Of Snow Possible In PA Wednesday
Elementary school students in the "A" group, which includes Bridge Valley, Cold Spring, Doyle, Gayman, Jamison, Mill Creek, Pine Run and Titus, will dismiss at 11:55 a.m. Students in the "B" group (Buckingham and Kutz) will dismiss at 12:10 p.m. and "C" schools (Barclay, Butler, Groveland, Linden and Warwick) will dismiss at 12:25 p.m. Students in PM kindergarten will not attend school. Grab-and-go lunch will be available for students at dismissal.
Middle and high school students will attend online classes as part of their normal Wednesday schedule. There will be no early dismissal. Any secondary students who attend in-person programs Wednesday will be dismissed at the middle school at 10:45 a.m. and high school at 10:40 a.m.
If the storm is severe enough to warrant closing schools on Thursday, students will get a traditional snow day, with no instruction.
A winter storm watch remain in effect through Thursday morning.
