Central Bucks Schools Report 136 COVID-19 Cases Since September
Of those, 50 were students or employees at the high school level.

DOYLESTOWN, PA —There have been 136 reported positive COVID-19 cases at Central Bucks schools since September, according to data from the district's website.
Despite Bucks County's status as a substantial transmission area, Superintendent John Kopicki confirmed the school district's willingness to remain open by submitting an attestation letter to State Department of Education, a new requirement issued on Nov. 23 for school districts that want to continue in-person instruction after Nov. 30.
By signing the letter, the district verifies that it will continue to follow updated health and safety protocols for mitigating the spread of coronavirus in its schools.

Gov. Tom Wolf is recommending that schools like Central Bucks transition to remote-only learning, but neither the administration nor the school board has indicated plans to suspend the practice.
Since late September, Central Bucks students have had three options for enrolling options: five day in-person learning, twice-a-week in-person learning or all virtual instruction. Students at the elementary level no longer have the hybrid option.
