CJ is Doylestown’s Top Dog

With 27 entries and dozens of votes over three weeks, Coilean Jordan is voted Doylestown's Top Dog.

 

Doylestown Patch readers picked Coilean Jordan – CJ to her friends – as the in our photo contest.

CJ is a 1½-year-old golden retreiver who loves the camera. Owner Merri Collins, of Doylestown, said the name Coilean Jordan comes from the original Irish of her husband's family name, and another family name on CJ's pedigree papers.

"But the truth is," Merri wrote in an email, she's really named "after my husband’s toy, his Jeep CJ-7, which he spent 4 years restoring. She does love to ride in the Jeep."

Voters picked CJ from 27 entries, with Murphy and Daisy providing close competition.

As the winner, CJ now moves on to represent Doylestown in the next round of voting in a regional contest of Bucks and Montgomery County canines.
