Community Response 'Extremely Gratifying': Doylestown Health CEO
The priority for Doylestown Hospital is personal protection equipment.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown Health has received hundreds of offers from the community seeking to help during the coronavirus crisis, and the response has been "extremely gratifying," CEO and President Jim Brexler said.
“We have received hundreds of offers for assistance from individuals, organizations, businesses and dental offices to support our work in a rapidly evolving situation,” said Brexler. “The response is extremely gratifying to our staff on the front lines and those supporting them. Health care is a team effort, and now more than ever the community and donors are a critical member of the team.”
The current priority for Doylestown Hospital is personal protection equipment for front line staff as the hospital prepares for an influx of COVID-19 cases.
