Community Shred Day To Be Held In Doylestown

JFS Wealth Advisors, a financial planning company, will hold a free shredding event for locals who want to get rid of personal documents.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A free, on-site community shredding event will be held in Doylestown on Oct. 21. The event is being organized by JFS Wealth Advisors, a local financial planning company.

The event will allow locals to safely and security het rid of sensitive documents. Items that can be shredded include dry-paper good and documents, photographs, cardboard products, spiral-bound notebooks, staples, and paper clips.

Items that cannot be shredded include wet paper products and documents, wood products, binders and binder clips, plastic products, and printer and toner cartridges.

The company will also be collecting toys, which will be donated to Operation Jamie’s Angels, supplying toys to children around the holiday season.

The PA-based financial planning company's Doylestown location is one of their nine locations in the state, with additional offices in Georgia and Florida. The company's headquarters is in Hermitage in Mercer County.

The event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or whenever the truck holding shredded documents becomes full. The truck will be located in the company's back parking lot, located at 2005 S. Easton Road Hermitage Road.
