Coronavirus Pushes Back Doylestown Farmers Market Opening Day

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Doylestown Farmers Market has moved its opening day to May 2 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

"Due to the state and local Coronavirus restrictions in place, the market will operate its May 2nd and May 9th markets using a Coronavirus Mitigation Plan for Vendors and Customers, a plan approved by the Doylestown Borough," according to an announcement.

The market will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at S. Hamilton Street between West State Street and West Oakland Avenue in Doylestown Borough.

On Monday, Gov. Tom Wolf extended the Stay at Home order in place in Bucks County and 25 additional Pennsylvania counties. That order now goes through April 30.
