DOYLESTOWN, PA —An emergency response tent for coronavirus patients has been erected at Doylestown Hospital.

It's a temporary facility that will be used for diagnosis and initial treatment for those with respiratory symptoms suggesting COVID-19, the hospital said.

Patients are seen and treated in the tent, if necessary. Those who may require testing are sent home for isolation until they are scheduled for our drive-through testing site. Those who are sick and require hospitalization are admitted to the hospital, hospital spokeswoman Beth Long explained.
Community physicians are scheduling their stable patient visits to the tent to prevent spread in the community.
