Demonstrators Cancel Doylestown March Over Coronavirus Fears
An anti-gun violence demonstration that was scheduled for this Saturday in Doylestown has been postponed due to the spread of coronavirus.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — An anti-gun violence demonstration that was scheduled for this Saturday in Doylestown has been postponed due to the spread of coronavirus, organizers announced Wednesday.
The March for Our Lives Doylestown, a student-led demonstration with the goal of reducing gun violence, was scheduled for March 14.
"Due to the threat of the rapidly-spread coronavirus, we have decided to postpone the event. We would like to make the event as safe and accessible as possible, so we have decided to postpone for the foreseeable future," organizers Bucks Students Demand Action said in an announcement.

The March for Our Lives was scheduled to begin at Central Bucks High School West at noon.
Student speakers were planned, plus voter registration information, slam poetry, chants, and more.
