Dog Park, Kids Castle Closed In Doylestown

​Doylestown Township has closed parks, including athletic fields, Kids Castle, Central Park bathrooms and the Dog Park.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Doylestown Township has announced closures associated with the coronavirus outbreak.

Here are the changes, according to the township:

  • Doylestown Township has closed parks, including athletic fields, Kids Castle, Central Park bathrooms and the Dog Park.
  • The Township is also suspending any Park & Recreation programs and activities.
  • The township has cancelled all public events and meetings through April 30, 2020 to insure the health, safety and well being of our community until April 30, 2020. *The Park and Recreation Department will contact those who has already paid for programs and activities to discuss credit options
  • The Environmental Advisory Councils "10 Days for Trees" events that were scheduled to be held April 16 through April 25 have been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
  • The Arbor Day tree planting event that was scheduled for Saturday, April 25 has also been cancelled and will be suspended until the fall.
  • The Leaf and Yard Waste Recycling event scheduled for Saturday, March 21 is cancelled and will not be open for operation.
