Doylestown Action League Holding D-Day Rally In Defense Of Democracy
The evening will begin with a flag ceremony and national anthem, followed by speeches from veterans reflecting on their service.

DOYLESTOWN, PA – The Doylestown Action League will host a "Unite for Veterans, Unite for America Rally" on Friday, June 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 55 East Court Street, Doylestown.
Held on the 81st Anniversary of D-Day, the event will "honor veterans, defend the Constitution, and raise awareness about recent attacks on essential veteran services and democratic institutions."
The evening will begin with a flag ceremony and national anthem, followed by speeches from veterans reflecting on their service and the "critical threats" facing the Veterans Administration.

According to a press release on the event, veteran speakers, including event organizer Nick Maio, will share how cuts to VA services are directly impacting lives and why safeguarding democracy remains a mission worth standing for.
Keynote remarks will be delivered by Danny Ceisler, a decorated U.S. Army veteran and Democratic nominee for Bucks County Sheriff. Ceisler served on a Special Operations Counter-Terrorism Task Force in Afghanistan, earning the Bronze Star.

Donations of non-perishable food and hygiene products will be collected throughout the event to benefit the Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC), which supports veterans in need across Bucks County and the Philadelphia region.
The Doylestown Action League invites the public to attend. All are welcome. "Attendees are asked to come in a spirit of peace, unity, and respect," said organizers.
