Doylestown Area 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
Traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
DOYLESTOWN, PA – The July 4 holiday will be celebrated differently this year due to the pandemic. Coronavirus mitigation measures prevent gatherings of more than 250 people, which has forced the cancelation of local fireworks and events.
The Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation Department, which usually hosts a concert and fireworks event in July, has canceled the entertainment series this year due to the pandemic.
But you can still celebrate the holiday virtually.

The annual Wawa Welcome America 4th of July festival in Philadelphia will be held virtually but will be not include fireworks. Activities are planned for June 28 through July 4.
The concert, to be headlined by Jason Derulo and Cynthia Erivo, will be held at 8 p.m. July 4 in The Met theater on North Broad Street, but with no in-person audience.
