Doylestown Goes Pink For Local Breast Cancer Patients [PHOTOS]

Check out these cool pictures of Doylestown buildings going pink in support of local breast cancer patients.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown is certainly looking pink these days.

Several buildings, including the court house, local museums, and Thompson Toyota, are illuminated with pink. Nearby Peddler's Village is also lit up in pink.

The change in colors is in support of the Pine2Pink effort for local breast cancer patients. As part of the initiative, Pine Street in Doylestown is Pink Street for the month.

The pink lights were switched on at the beginning of the month and will remain up through October in support of Pine2Pink's month-long fundraising and awareness program benefiting local breast cancer patients.

"It's our goal for Pine2Pink to provide a source of relief and comfort to patients during the grueling process of treatment and recovery and let them focus on becoming whole again, and take away some of the financial stresses that come with battling breast cancer," Pine2Pink founder Keith Fenimore said.
