DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown Health has announced it is looking to raise $100 million as part of its "One Vision" campaign to cover the cost of a slate of new initiatives, including a planned rebuild of the Children's Village.

The day care center located on the Doylestown Hospital campus suffered heavy tornado damage last summer and has since been unusable. In a news release, Doylestown Health officials said any money raised as part of the campaign will also help cover the cost to relocate and expand the Women's Diagnostic Center in Doylestown Hospital, build a conference suite and learning center to promote community education and events and continued medical training, and make renovations and campus enhancements to the Pine Run Retirement Community.

"While our successes underscore the ideas that inspire our generous donors, we can’t declare victory just yet," Dick Clark, One Vision campaign chair and retired CEO of Merck & Co, said. "When we reach our new, ambitious goal we will proudly share the achievement of taking Doylestown Health to a new level knowing we have the vital resources in place to recruit and retain high-quality, skilled physicians, nurses, therapists and Associates to meet any challenges that lie ahead of us.”

The campaign, which is set to end in 2023, has generated commitments of $70 million from nearly 6,000 donors. That money has been used to support projects including the opening of the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion, the Community Center at Pine Run, The Ambulatory Center, expansion of the Doylestown Hospital Surgical Suite.

"There is no question that the sheer magnitude of this campaign is historic for Doylestown Health, yet what truly matters is the impact created by the nearly 6,000 donors who have joined this effort thus far,” Joan Parlee, Chair of the Boards of Trustees for Doylestown Hospital and Doylestown Health Foundation, said. “We are grateful for the support and trust of our community and we look forward to the next phase of the One Vision campaign.”
