Doylestown Man, 47, Found Dead At North Jersey High School
Patrick Moccia, a teacher at Pompton Lakes High School, was found dead of an apparent suicide Friday, police said.

POMPTON LAKES, NJ — A Doylestown man who worked as a technology education teacher at a high school in northern New Jersey was found dead of an apparent suicide Friday, the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said.
The body of Patrick Moccia, 47, was found at Pompton Lakes High School at around 9 p.m., according to police. His death is believed to be the result of an apparent suicide, authorities said.
Moccia is listed as a technology education teacher on the school's website. He is survived by his wife, two children and two stepchildren, NorthJersey.com reported.

"My heart goes out to the family of Patrick Moccia, please keep them in your thoughts during this difficult time," Pompton Lakes Councilwoman Jennifer Polidori posted on Facebook. "This is a sad and tragic loss for our community."
An autopsy will be conducted by the New Jersey Medical Examiner's Office at a later date. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
