Doylestown Memorial Day Parade: What To Know
The oldest Memorial Day Parade in the United States, last year's event saw an estimated 15,000 spectators in attendance.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The 154th annual Doylestown Memorial Day Parade is set for this coming Monday.
The oldest Memorial Day Parade in the United States is set to be held in the Doylestown area on Memorial Day morning. A flag-raising at War Memorial Field will be held before the parade begins at Central Bucks West High School
The parade's line-up and staging will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Memorial Drive and McFarlane Lane. All entries to the parade must be in position by 9:45 a.m., with the parade beginning at 10 a.m.

After leaving the high school, the parade will continue to move east on West Court Street, then east on West State Street, north on Main Street, and finally east on East Court Street to Doylestown Cemetery.
The parade will end with a 30-minute memorial service that will see the United Veterans of Doylestown placing wreaths to honor fallen heroes.

According to a statement published on the Borough of Doylestown's website, last year's parade saw "approximately 1,700 people participated in the parade, representing over 100 separate units, including eight local school bands, with an estimated 15,000 spectators looking on."
The first Doylestown Memorial Day Parade was held in 1868.
