Doylestown Resident Cited As Star Student: Here’s Why

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Avonlea should be recognized as a star student for her exceptional skills in writing, and offering to help her team at a local plastic surgeon’s office through working the front desk and managing the social media. She has killer marketing tactics, a sweet, bubbly personality, a 4.0 GPA in English language and literature, and is a published writer. She extends herself to anyone and everyone who asks, and her school seeks her mentorship for her talent in writing and literature. She is highly intelligent, analytical, well-rounded, and eloquent. She is kind and humble above all else.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

I want everyone to know how hard Avonlea works. She is 21 years old paying for her education on her own. She is a diligent, passionate, and lovely soul who should be recognized for the endless tasks she completes on the behalf of others. She is exceptional at planning, time management, and balancing school, work, and volunteering. She often reads to children and Nannie’s for the community.
