Doylestown Startup Delivers Christmas Trees, Food Bank Donations

JENKINTOWN, PA — Launching a startup in any year has its challenges, but 2020 might take the cake.

For Doylestown native Jason Toutkoushian, it seemed like the right thing to do. The Central Bucks graduate recently launched Express Evergreens, a Christmas tree delivery service for residents in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Seeing families struggling during the coronavirus pandemic compelled him to donate a portion of tree sales to local food pantries, including Jenkintown Food Cupboard, the Bucks County Housing Group Community Food Pantry in Doylestown and the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard in Ambler.

“We decided to go 100 percent online with the hopes we would be able to give back to our local community members who might need it this Christmas season," Toutkoushian said.

Express Evergreens allows customers to select a food bank to support upon checkout. All products are available for contactless delivery in the Bucks and Montgomery County region.
