Doylestown Woman Driving Without Tire Gets 2 DUIs In 2 Days: Cops
A Doylestown woman faces two charges of driving while intoxicated after she was arrested twice in the same week for the same offense.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — A Doylestown woman faces two charges of driving while intoxicated after she was arrested twice in the same week for the same offense, according to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department.
Shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, police responded to a report of a person driving without a front tire on North Main Street. Witnesses described seeing sparks from the tire and fresh gouge marks on the road.
When police located the driver, 62-year-old Mary Catherine Conner, they described her as smelling like alcohol and slurring her words. She failed field sobriety tests but refused to have her blood drawn, police said.

The following day around 7 p.m., Conner was involved in a crash on South Main Street that resulted in heavy front end damage to her vehicle, police said. After failing field sobriety tests, police obtained a blood draw at Doylestown Hospital, according to an incident report.
Conner is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 9.
