DOYLESTOWN, PA — Much like the lunch rush at Bagel Barrel or the dinner hour at Bacco Bistro, the COVID-19 pandemic has been unrelenting. Cafes, bars and restaurants have been forced to adapt in ways previously unimaginable, offering curbside pickup and contact-free delivery to ensure the safety of their customers.

Back in November, we asked our readers to vote for their favorite Doylestown business in 2020, paying special attention to entrepreneurs and mom-and-pop shops that have gone above and beyond in a tumultuous year.

Bocelli's Restaurant

"Owner Rafaa Habib and his team have gone above and beyond this year to give back to the community, while working tirelessly to keep their doors open and their staff employed. Countless meals have been donated to frontline and healthcare workers, the local homeless coalition, nursing homes, schools, and families in need. I run a local neighborhood community group and there has NEVER been a time that I have reached out to Bocelli's for assistance that they have not gone above and beyond to meet whatever need is presented. And usually Rafaa reaches out to me before I've even had a chance to ask. To top it all off, their food is simply the freshest, best, and most delicious that you'll find anywhere, and I've eaten at A LOT of restaurants. Geronimo Brewing At Lilly's Jury Room

"The team at Geronimo are always friendly & courteous. In addition they have gone to great lengths to enforce the COVID restrictions and the owner, Andrew Scott and his wife Kelly have now built metal framed plastic shelters for customers to use in the colder weather.
