PA State Police Release New Details On Fatal Post-Prom Crash
PA State Police have provided new information about a crash that killed an 18-year-old Central Bucks East student just hours after prom.

WARRINGTON, PA — Pennsylvania State Police have released new information on a weekend crash that claimed the life of a Central Bucks High School East student hours after prom.
The driver, Jonah Osborne of Doylestown, remains in critical condition as of Monday, State Police said. The Pike County crash killed Nicholas Mannino, 18, of Pipersville.
On Friday evening, Mannino attended his senior prom at The Fuge in Warminster. After the event, he and three other students were driving to the Poconos for the weekend.

Around 1:20 a.m., as the car was traveling on Ledgedale Road just south of Southerton Lane in Greene Township, Osborne traveled across the center line of the roadway and onto the shoulder, according to state police.
The 2011 GMC Acadia rolled onto its roof and struck a tree with its left side before coming to rest in a wooded area on the side of the roadway, police said.

Osborne and Mannino were extricated from the vehicle and transported to Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. Mannino was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Two passengers, both 18-year-old males, suffered minor injuries in the crash.
It's unclear if speed, alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, but one of the surviving passengers reportedly told news station 6ABC that Osborne was "going too fast for the road".
Following news of Mannino's death, the Central Bucks School District announced that grief counselors would be available to provide emotional support for students and staff.
"The death of a student, particularly on the cusp of what is a celebratory time of year, renders us deeply saddened and searching for answers," Central Bucks Acting Superintendent Abram Lucabaugh wrote in a letter to students and families on Sunday night.
Seniors at Central Bucks East will graduate on Thursday.
