DUI Arrests, Indescent Assault: Central Bucks Regional Crime Report

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests during May:
May 1
- Fraudulent Registration - Green Street in Doylestown Borough. A 67-year-old man from Doylestown was charged with fraudulent registration following a traffic stop for a fraudulent license plate displayed on vehicle.

- DUI - North Main and North Broad Streets, Doylestown Borough. A 46-year-old Furlong man was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for speeding and making a right turn on red where prohibited. The driver presented with a strong odor of alcoholic beverage, bloodshot glassy eyes, slurred speech and slowed motor movements. Multiple clues of impairment were observed during field sobriety tests and legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.
May 4
- DUI - N. Shady Retreat Road, New Britain Borough. A 27-year-old Doylestown man was charged with DUI following police response to a one-vehicle accident. The driver presented with an odor of alcoholic beverage, slurred speech, glassy bloodshot eyes, and an unsteady gait. Field sobriety tests were not conducted, and the driver was transported to Grand View Hospital for medical attention where legal blood draw was obtained.
- Disorderly Conduct - 93 Union Street (Bucks County Parking Garage), Doylestown Borough. A 15-year-old boy was cited for disorderly conduct after officers observed the juvenile attempting to throw a barricade off the third level of the parking garage.
May 8

- DUI - East Oakland Avenue and South Church Street, Doylestown. A 57-year-old man from Buckingham was charged with DUI after officers conducted a traffic stop for the smell of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.
May 9
- Drug Violation - 833 E. Butler Avenue (Lifeworks School), New Britain Borough. Police responded to the school for a 16-year-old student who was found in possession of a THC vape. A Juvenile Allegation has been filed.
May 12
- Theft of Mail, Unlawful Taking - 555 N. Broad Street, Doylestown Borough. A 23-year-old woman from Doylestown was charged with stealing a FedEx package from the mailroom of the apartment complex.
- Simple Assault, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct - Union Street, Doylestown Borough. A 44-year-old woman from Doylestown was charged following a physical altercation during a domestic dispute.
May 15
- DUI - 80 West State Street, Doylestown Borough. A 32-year-old man from Stowe, Vermont, was charged following an investigation of a hit and run to an unattended vehicle. The driver presented with an unsteady gait, delayed speech, and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. Legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.
May 15 to 25
- Disorderly Conduct - Doylestown Borough. The following were cited for urinating in public: A 32-year-old man from Holliston, Mass., a 21-year-old man from Buckingham, a 22-year-old man from Plumstead, a 21-year-old man from Telford, and a 33-year-old man from North Wales.
May 16
- Indecent Assault and Harassment - Chestnut Street, Chalfont Borough. A 78-year-old man from Chalfont was charged following two incidents of inappropriate and unwanted contact with the victim.
May 18
- Drug Violations - 495 East St. (Seven-Eleven Store), Doylestown Borough. A 33-year-old man from Furlong was charged following a well-being check for an unconscious man in the store.
May 26
- Public Drunkenness - West Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough. A 63-year-old Doylestown man was cited after police found him passed out in the roadway. He presented with glassy eyes, odor of alcoholic beverage, and slurred speech.
May 27
- Retail Theft - 456 North Main Street (Target), Doylestown Borough - A 38-year-old Bedminster woman was charged with unlawfully taking merchandise on May 27. She was also involved in previous retail thefts at the Target on May 1, 9 and 16. The thefts totaled $473.58 in merchandise.
