The high school will close for one week after a fire broke out in a classroom Sunday morning.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — No injuries were reported from a fire that broke out in a first-floor classroom at Central Bucks High School West early Sunday morning, school district officials said.
By the time the Doylestown Fire Company was dispatched to the school at 375 West Court Street in Doylestown, the fire was already extinguished by the building's sprinkler system.
One classroom and one adjacent room incurred smoke and water damage as a result of the fire. A professional restoration firm is onsite performing cleaning and ventilation, the district said.
