Firefighters Rescue Resident From Burning Bucks Co. Home
Upon arrival, Palisades Regional Fire Rescue reported heavy fire showing and were advised of possible entrapment.

TINICUM TOWNSHIP, PA — Bucks County firefighters rescued a person from a burning house late Sunday night on South Park Road in Tinicum.
Palisades Regional Fire Rescue responded to the scene at 10:08 p.m. Upon arrival, crews reported heavy fire showing and were advised of possible entrapment.
Engine 94 launched an attack on the fire while Ladder 49 started a primary search. Ten minutes after being dispatched, firefighters found and removed a victim from the house and turned them over to EMS crews.

Firefighters immediately went back in service to continue the search and attack the fire. Evacuation tones were dropped at 10:42 p.m. due to deterioratng interior conditions. After evacuating the building, firefighters continued fighting the fire from the exterior.

Hampering their efforts were strong winds and downed power lines. The fire was placed under control at 10:42 pm.
Called in to assist Palisades as mutual aid, cover companies or emergency medical services were the Plumsteadville Vol. Fire Company, Delaware Valley Volunteer Fire Co., Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, Upper Black Eddy Fire Company No. 1, Milford Fire Company Station 92, Haycock Fire Company No. 1, Hilltown Township Volunteer Fire Company, Perkasie Fire Company, Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, Point Pleasant Vol. Fire Co., Upper Bucks Regional EMS, Inc. and Point Pleasant-Plumsteadville EMS.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
