Fleeing New Britain Twp. Bank Fraud Suspects Arrested In Warrington
3 New York men are facing bank fraud charges in New Britain Township; one charged with drug possession in Warrington.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Three New York men are facing attempted bank fraud charges in New Britain Township after they were arrested in Warrington, fleeing an incident at the TD Bank.
On May 29, New Britain Township Police broadcast a description of a vehicle involved in the incident. The vehicle was subsequently spotted by a Warrington officer who conducted a traffic stop on County Line Road near Kansas Road.
New Britain Township Police arrived at the scene and positively identified the three suspects inside the car as being involved in the attempted bank fraud. The three men from Bronx, New York, were identified placed under arrest at the scene.

During a search of the suspects, Warrington police discovered that one of them - a 23-year-old man - had illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia. As a result, Warrington police filed additional drug-related charges, while New Britain Police filed fraud-related charges on all three individuals.
Following processing at the Warrington Police station, the suspects were transferred to the New Britain Police Department for further investigation and legal proceedings.

Suspected Retail Theft
In other reports, Warrington Police responded to Walmart on June 2 for a retail theft in progress. Upon arrival, police found a 64-year-old woman from Horsham being detained by loss prevention for suspected retail theft.
The store's loss prevention employee told police that she had been observed concealing merchandise in bags and then exiting the store without paying. The total value of the stolen items was $35.60.
The woman was transported to the station, processed, issued a non-traffic citation, and released.
