Forum To Showcase Democratic Candidates In Bucks County

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Six Democratic candidates vying for public office in Bucks County will take part in a virtual forum next week.

The event, hosted by Bucks Voices, will take place over Zoom at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25. Registration is limited.

The candidates include:

Rich Scholer, who is running for Bucks County District Attorney, practices personal injury law. A Warwick Township resident, he lost to District Attorney Matt Weintraub, a Republican, in the 2017 election.

Antonetta Stancu, who is running for Bucks County District Attorney, is a criminal defense attorney in Doylestown and a former prosecutor in the DA's Office. More info.

Dawn DiDonato Burke, an attorney in Lower Makefield, is running for a Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge seat.

Diane McGee, Solicitor for the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging, is running for the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge.

Robert Repko, a Doylestown attorney, is running for the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.

Tiffany Thomas-Smith, a lawyer based in Newtown, is running for the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge. She is the first black woman to announce her candidacy for the position.
