Fred Beans Doylestown Renews Sponsorship Of Bike Works Cycling Team

"The sponsorship provides the opportunity for these athletes to test themselves against the best in the world," said a Bike Works partner.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Fred Beans Charitable Foundation, the giving arm of the Fred Beans Automotive Group, has renewed its sponsorship of the Bike Works (powered by Fred Beans)Elite Cycling Team for 2025. The Fred Beans organization has been the team’s title sponsor since 2015.

The team is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support local athletes competing in all disciplines of competitive cycling. The team competes regionally, nationally and internationally and is coming off an exciting season last year.

  • In 2024, Kimberly Ann Zubris of Trexlertown won three national championships and a world master’s championship for the team in track cycling.
  • Bethany Ingram of Warrington competed with the USA National Track Cycling Team and was an alternate for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
  • Brad Green of Schwenksville and Colin Fitzgerald of Philadelphia both finished in the top 10 at the Bucks County Classic against national level talent.
  • And Randall Elsner of Doylestown took 1st and 3rd at the New Jersey Special Olympics Cycling Competition this past fall.

“Community support is a key component of the Fred Beans mission,” said Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of the Fred Beans Automotive Group. “As an organization, we continually invest in the health of our employees as well as the communities we serve. We know that sponsoring this bike team not only supports local athletes but also provides our youth with role models who can inspire them to get outside and ride a bike for fun and fitness.”
