Each year, more than 10 million Americans have their personal information – including their name, social security number, bank account or credit card number – stolen. Often, thieves use this information to open phony credit cards, bank accounts or utilities in the victim’s name. Occasionally, perpetrators will use the victim’s identity to secure benefits such as healthcare or government assistance. This free presentation will give you valuable information that you need in order to protect yourself from identity thieves and scams, identify potential red flags and take corrective actions.

The Identity Theft Workshop is presented as a part of the library's ongoing adult programming initiative. Programming includes historical lectures, financial planning, wellness programs, and other relevant programs of value to the community.

All Bucks County can attend the program. No library card is necessary.
