Richboro Dairy Queen Reopens Under New Ownership

The Dairy Queen Grill & Chill at Addisville Commons in Richboro has reopened under new ownership after being closed since March. The store, which had been a popular spot in the township for ice cream treats and parties, closed after the former owner was charged by Northampton Township Police with corruption of minors and tampering with evidence following an incident at the restaurant involving a female employee. Fans of the store, who launched an online petition last spring calling for the company to replace the owner, declared victory on its petition page after the new owners stepped forward and announced the store’s reopening.
