Roadway Reopens Following House Fire In Doylestown Township

Police and fire crews responded the scene of a house fire early Monday afternoon in Doylestown Township.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Fire and police responded to the scene of a house fire early Monday afternoon in the 1900 block of Lower State Road.

For a brief time, Lower State Road was closed at Almshouse Road and at Route 202 while the fire department was working to bring the situation under control, according to the Doylestown Township Police Department.

"The fire incident along Lower State Road has been resolved, and the roadway is now open," police said.
