How Many Inches Of Snow Is Bucks County Getting, And When?

Forecasters updated snow predictions for the Bucks County area, with a winter weather advisory going into effect at 10 p.m. Thursday night.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The National Weather Service says that the snowstorm predicted to hit the Northeast overnight is likely to drop 3 to 5 inches Thursday night and potentially a little more Friday morning in Bucks County.

The weather service issued a winter weather advisory in Bucks County to take effect 10 p.m. Thursday, which will last until 10 a.m. Friday.

  • Tonight: A chance of snow in the evening, then snow after midnight. Snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches. Lows in the upper 20s. Northwest winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.
  • Friday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. Highs in the mid 30s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of snow 50 percent.
  • Friday Night: Mostly clear. Lows around 18. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

The National Weather Service warned that road conditions are likely to be slippery, and could impact the morning commute. The agency advised to slow down and use caution while driving.
