Ice Cream Store Burglary Under Investigation In Bucks Co.

Police are also investigating a second burglary the same night at a township church.

HILLTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Two commercial burglaries early Monday morning are under investigation in Hilltown Township.

On June 16 at approximately 4:45 a.m., someone broke through the front door of the Hickory Stick Ice Cream Shop located at 811 Telegraph Road in the Perkasie section of Hilltown Township. The suspect went straight to the register area and stole cash from the store. The loss to the store owner is $500, police said.

Also overnight, someone broke into the Pennridge Christian Fellowship Church located at 720 Blooming Glen Road in the Blooming Glen section of Hilltown Township. The suspect gained access to an area of the church where the safe is located.

As of now, it is unknown if the same suspect committed both burglaries but both incidents are currently under investigation.

A nearby business captured a pick-up truck as the suspect's potential transportation. The truck is a full-sized pick-up, which is possibly two-toned in color.
