Indie Rock Band To Open New Concert Series In Doylestown Borough
Stage United is teaming up with Doylestown Borough to present the free two concert event at Broad Commons Park.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — A brand new concert series - Concerts at the Commons - will kick off a two concert series on Thursday, May 1 with a free performance by Mo Lawda & The Humble.
The concerts are taking place at Broad Commons Park, formerly an unsightly PennDOT storage yard that has been transformed by the borough into a playground, picnic area, and a spacious field off Broad Street between Doyle Street and Atkinson Drive.
Concert promoter Joe Montone and his Stage United nonprofit organization is teaming up with Doylestown Borough to present the new concert mini-series featuring an exciting lineup of bands, food trucks and local craft beer.

"Working alongside The Doylestown Borough to bring Concerts at the Commons to life is a dream come true," says Montone, founder of Stage United. "It's our largest endeavor yet as a nonprofit, and exemplifies the demand for more live music in our backyard."
Stage United will also be producing Picnics On Pine in the Doylestown Borough on May 17.

Opening Concerts at the Commons on Thursday is Mo Lowda & The Humble, a relentlessly touring, progressive indie rock outfit with Bucks County roots. The band is set to release its 5th studio album on June 20 entitled "Tailing the Ghost."

Since releasing their debut album in 2013, they’ve vastly expanded the sonic exploration and developed a dialed-in, yet energetic live show. The band plays nearly 90 shows per year building a ravenous and loyal following across the country, selling out clubs and theaters.
Bucks County Deputy Sheriff and phenomenal band leader, Dave Woodard, kicks off the evening with fresh takes on funk, blues, and rock classics.
Concerts In The Commons continues on May 29th with Jarod Clemons & The Late Nights and Fallon's Religion. Jarod Clemons is the youngest son of E Street Band saxophonist and Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer, Clarence Clemons. He is charting an electrifying path as a frontman and songwriter.
Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chair or blanket to this pet-friendly, free concert event.
Acclaimed local food trucks, Jules Thin Crust, The Comfort Kitchen, and Kona Ice will be on-site with drinks from Artifact Brewing.
Attending the concerts is made easy with the Bucks County Parking Garage just feet away.
The grounds open at 6 p.m. with music starting at 6:50 p.m. There is no admission fee.
