The death of another inmate at the Bucks County Correctional Facility is under investigation, county officials said.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA - The death of an inmate at the Bucks County Correctional Facility is under investigation, county officials said.

The inmate, a male in his 30s at Bucks County Correctional Facility in Doylestown, was pronounced dead Monday by staff at the jail, officials said Tuesday.

Bucks County Detectives and the Department of Corrections Investigations Unit are investigating the death, official said.

The death is among four other reported deaths at the jail in the past year — three inmates died by suicide and one died of natural causes in 2022, according to the Bucks County Herald. Comparatively, the jail reported two suicides in 2018 and one each in 2019 and 2020, the outlet reported.
