Juvenile Arrested In Burglary At Jersey Mike's In Plumstead
Former employee charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A 17-year-old is facing felony burglary charges after breaking into the Jersey Mike's Sub shop at the Cross Keys Place Shopping Center in March.
The burglary happened on March 17 just before midnight when police say a former employee was captured on surveillance video smashing the glass front door and entering the business.
Police said interior and exterior video surveillance showed an individual walking toward the rear of the business from the area of the 611 bypass. The individual then walked to the front of the store, broke the glass to the front door, entered the business, traversed the counter, and went directly to where a cash box was stored.

Police said the subject then left through a rear door with the cash box in hand and was last seen walking back toward the bypass.
A thorough investigation was conducted and the suspect was identified as a 17 year-old former employee. The suspect was taken into custody on March 20 without incident.
