Five new ice cream flavors whipped up by kids as part of the ice cream store’s Kids Flavor Contest are on the menu at all of its stores with a portion of the proceeds benefiting a number of local nonprofits.
“A big thank you to everyone who submitted their dream ice cream flavor to our Kid’s Flavor Contest! We received so many fun and creative submissions,” said the folks at the Bucks County-based ice cream maker, ranked as one of the best ice cream shops in America.

“Every year, the kids surprise the ice cream maker with their creativity. And the flavors turn out amazing," said Owowcow's managing director Shira Tizer Wade. "The kids are so incredibly creative. It's always super hard to choose winners!"
Winners are treated to a number of prizes, including a limited edition t-shirt, a fancy trophy, and a free ice cream sampling with friends and family. In addition to fun prizes, Owowcow is also donating a portion of May sales to a nonprofit of the winner's choice.
“This is such a great way for kids to express their creativity," said Wade. "They get to imagine and create their very own dream flavor of ice cream and then name and draw it. And if they win, we will make their dream ice cream and serve it in all of our shops all May long!"
