DOYLESTOWN, PA —The coronavirus outbreak in Pennsylvania and across the nation continues to have vast impacts in Doylestown, including the closure of schools and many businesses.
The number of cases of the illness, also known as COVID-19, continue to rise and additional measures and closures continue to be announced. The governor has declared a Stay at Home order, which is now in place in 26 counties through April 30. All non-life-sustaining businesses and schools in Pennsylvania are closed indefinitely.

As of Monday, there are 249 positive cases of coronavirus in Bucks County, including confirmed cases in Doylestown Borough, Doylestown Township, and Buckingham Township. There are more than 4,000 cases in Pennsylvania as of Monday, and 48 people have died as a result of COVID-19.
Bucks County reported its first death over the weekend. Since then, two more people in Bucks County died from the virus.

SCHOOLS
All schools in Pennsylvania are closed "indefinitely," Gov. Tom Wolf said Monday. MORE.

The Central Bucks Regional Police announced they'll be doing virtual well-being checks for seniors during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. MORE.
