‘Luminary Stroll’ To Support Bucks Co. Cancer Patients, Survivors
The Pine2Pink Foundation will launch its monthlong fundraising campaign with an event Wednesday evening at Fonthill Castle.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Fonthill Castle is set to host a “Luminary Stroll” event Wednesday evening to raise money for Bucks County residents with cancer.
The event, which starts at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, is one of five the Pine2Pink Foundation has planned for its “fundraising season.”
The foundation’s slate of events kicked off Saturday at Delaware Valley University with a Yoga and Fitness Fest, but Wednesday night’s event at the castle will serve as the official launch for the foundation’s monthlong fundraising campaign.

The “Luminary Stroll” event will feature bags with messages of inspiration and encourage lining the driveway of Fonthill Castle “as a representation of our local Bucks County breast cancer community,” an event flyer says.

The free luminary stroll is scheduled to run from 6:30-7:15 p.m. Wednesday and will be followed by guest speakers and music. The event will be held Thursday if it rains.
Pine2Pink’s fundraising push will also include a Conga Line Car Parade on Oct. 2 to honor cancer survivors and residents in treatment; the Pine2Pink Masquerade Gala on Oct. 16 at The Mercantile at Doylestown; and the Night of the Living Deadlift on Oct. 29 at Training for Warriors Doylestown.
Coronavirus Cases On The Rise In Central Bucks Schools
The Pine2Pink Foundation was established in 2018 to raise money from local communities to support breast cancer patients. Over the past three years, it has started and funded 10 programs to support patients, including food delivery, comfort bags and transportation for treatment.
The foundation’s fundraising efforts will support Fox Chase Cancer Center Buckingham, Grand View Health, Doylestown Health and the Corinne Sikora Wellness and Support Center in Buckingham Township.
Pine2Pink recently helped launch the Corinne Sikora Center to help Bucks County residents with cancer by offering free services to patients, including holistic and integrative services, nutrition classes, support groups, book clubs, acupuncture, and yoga and fitness classes.
