Authorities in Bucks County busted a long-running methamphetamine lab, charging a 70-year-old Dublin man and six others.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Authorities in Bucks County said they've busted a long-running methamphetamine lab, charging a 70-year-old Dublin man and six others.
Gary Lynn Moyer, 70, of Dublin was arraigned Wednesday on charges of operating a methamphetamine lab, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, conspiracy and other counts related to the organized production and sale of the drug, the District Attorney said.
The Bucks County Detectives Drug Strike Force and the Bedminster Township Police Department said Moyer cooked and sold meth out of his Cherry Lane home.

Six others were charged after acting as Moyer's “smurfs,” — making routine purchases of items and ingredients required to manufacture methamphetamine. Some of the defendants acted as a lookout while Moyer cooked the meth, police said.
“In partnership with the police departments in Bedminster, Quakertown, and Dublin, the Strike Force has ground the Moyer meth manufacturing machine to a standstill,” said District Attorney Matthew D. Weintraub said in announcing the arrests. “The coronavirus didn’t stop them. Good law enforcement investigation and cooperation did. People in Bucks County are much safer as a result.”

Moyer paid his co-defendants in meth, the DA said. According to a criminal complaint, Moyer and his co-conspirators purchased enough medications containing ephedrine to produce nearly 2,000 grams of methamphetamine.
Charged alongside Moyer are:
- Teresa Ann Truitt, 58, of Dublin
- Harold Roger Bickley, 61, of Perkasie
- Annette Bickley, 57, of Perkasie
- Lisa M. Hilbert, 50, of Long Pond
- Monroe County Donna Rapoli, 56, of Easton
- Christopher Ryan Clemmer, 38, of Dublin
Moyer is being held at Bucks County prison after failing to make bail, which was set by at 10 percent of $750,000.
