Man Arrested In Bloody Assault On 61-Year-Old In Warrington: P.D.

Upon arrival at a home on Mustang Road, officers found that the victim had sustained significant facial injuries.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington man faces multiple charges after police say he assaulted a 61-year-old man during a domestic incident early Wednesday morning in the 800 block of Mustang Road.

Police have charged Timothy Joseph Campbell, 40, with aggravated assault, simple assault, loitering and prowling at night, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Police responded to the home around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6. Upon arrival, officers found that the 61-year-old victim had sustained significant facial injuries.

An investigation determined that Campbell arrived at the home allegedly to obtain a key to a
relative’s home following a domestic incident. Campbell reportedly woke the victim, pulled the victim outside, and physically assaulted him. He is accused of punching the victim in the face with a closed fist, striking them multiple times with his elbows, and throwing them to the ground.

The victim suffered multiple facial injuries, lacerations, and a hip injury.

Warrington Ambulance transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. Responding officers noted the victim’s face was covered in blood at the scene.

Campbell was arrested and transported to the Warrington Police Department for processing. During processing, police said Campbell made some unsolicited incriminating statements referencing the aggravated assault.

Campbell was arraigned by Judge Wertman, who set bail at $1,000,000 (10 percent cash option). Unable to post bail, Campbell was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility to await his day in court.
