Man Assaulted Warrington Restaurant Worker, Then Ran From Cops: Police
Police said he assaulted a Chickie's & Pete's employee after trying to leave without paying, then ran from police before resisting arrest.

WARRINGTON, PA — A 30-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police said he assaulted a manager at Chickie's and Pete's after trying to leave without paying, then ran from police and later wrestled with officers in the middle of traffic in an incident reported early Tuesday.
According to police, officers were called to the Easton Road restaurant at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday for the report of a robbery.
"Bucks County radio advised responding officers that a black male wearing a beanie and black jacket with a skateboard ran out without paying for his food, assaulted an employee and left southbound on Easton Road," according to information from Warrington Police.

Three Chickie's and Pete's employees who witnessed the incident told police the man, later identified as Amir Garrison-Freguson of Philadelphia, refused to pay for food service provided to him, then assaulted the manager as he tried to stop him from leaving without paying.
Police located Garrison-Freguson in front of Amazon Fresh, and he took off on foot as soon as he saw the police cars, authorities said.

Police chased him on foot in the area of Easton Road and Titus Avenue, where he was stopped by police. He became resistive and wrestled with officers in the middle of traffic on Easton Road, police said.
He was arrested and transported back to Warrington police headquarters, processed, and arraigned in front of the Honorable to Judge Wertman.
He is facing charges of robbery, evading arrest on foot, simple assault and resisting arrest.
