Man Found Dead In Cell At Bucks County Correctional Facility
The death of a man incarcerated at the Bucks County prison is under investigation after he was found unresponsive Tuesday, authorities said.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A man incarcerated at the Bucks County Correctional Facility died after being found unresponsive in his cell Tuesday night, authorities said.
Lifesaving measures were immediately started when he was found, according to a news release from Bucks County Wednesday. The county did not identify the incarcerated man, but said he was in his late forties.
Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the jail, according to the release.

Bucks County Detectives and the Department of Corrections Investigations Unit are investigating the man's death, the county said. A cause of death has not yet been released.
This is the second reported death at the prison within the past year. A 69-year-old man incarcerated at Bucks County Correctional Facility died by suicide in a shower at the jail in September.
