Man Shot During Standoff In Doylestown Township

One person was injured in an officer-involved shooting Thursday night. The incident is under investigation by the Bucks Co. DA's office.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — One person was injured in an officer-involved shooting during a standoff Thursday night in Doylestown Township, authorities have confirmed. The person was transported for medical treatment and remains hospitalized, according to information from the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.

The shooting occurred during a standoff in the area of Shady Retreat and Limekiln roads. The standoff prompted a shelter-in-place, which was lifted less than two hours later.

"Any danger to the community presented by this situation has now passed," the District Attorney's Office said in a statement.
