Man Shot At Nockamixon State Park Dies From Injuries

The 18-year-old Pennridge graduate died from injuries resulting from a gunshot wound at the Upper Bucks park on Saturday.

QUAKERTOWN, PA — The young man who was shot at Nockamixon State Park on Saturday has died from his injuries, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office confirmed Monday.

Jason Kutt, 18, was found by Pennsylvania State game wardens and state park rangers who were patrolling the park around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, the Bedminster Police Department said.

Police units from several law enforcement agencies searched the area using a K9 and state police helicopter but were unable to locate a suspect.

A witness told police he saw a man in hunting gear leaving the area after the shooting, but a description of the suspect has not been released.

Family members of Kutt said in a Facebook post that the 2020 Pennridge graduate loved playing guitars, video games and taking walks in nature while spending time with his girlfriend.

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office is scheduled to hold a press conference Monday afternoon to announce more details of the ongoing police investigation.
