DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Police Department responded to numerous incidents and arrests over the month of January.

Saturday, Jan. 1

- A 21-year-old Pipersville man was arrested on W. Court Street in Doylestown for criminal mischief and public drunkenness after someone called police on a man who smashed a car window. Police found him asleep in the driver's seat of a car that wasn't his. He smelled strongly of alcohol and had bloodshot, glassy eyes. Police filed a criminal complaint.
- A 22-year-old Doylestown man was cited for disorderly conduct for public urination on N. Main Street.
- A 29-year-old Furlong man was cited for disorderly conduct on W. State Street in Doylestown after police found him urinating in public.
- A 33-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested for trespassing on N. Main Street when someone called police about an "unwanted subject" at McDonald's. He had apparently been told on multiple occasions not to come back or he would be charged. Police filed a criminal complaint.
Sunday, Jan. 2
- A 21-year-old Souderton man was cited for disorderly conduct after police found him doing burnouts in a parking lot on N. Main Street in Doylestown.

- A 53-year-old Doylestown man was arrested for simple assault on North Street after police were called to a domestic disturbance. He apparently escalated a verbal altercation and caused physical harm to the victim. He was arraigned with bail set at 10 percent of $20,000 with conditions, and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
- Someone spray-painted the sidewalk in front of the County Theater door on 20 E. State Street in Doylestown.
Monday, Jan. 10
- Someone stole Pokemon merchandise from Cyborg One on E. State Street in Doylestown.
Friday, Jan. 14
- A 21-year-old Pipersville woman was arrested for driving under the influence on Doyle Street in Doylestown after she turned left on a red traffic light and was stopped by police. She told the officer that she didn’t have her license because it was suspended. She had glassy eyes and appeared to be nervous and jittery. When she exited her car, police saw pills on the driver’s seat as well as a strong odor of marijuana. She was taken into custody and taken to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. Police filed a criminal complaint.
- A 23-year-old Warrington man was charged with criminal mischief to automobiles on N. Main Street in Doylestown after witnesses told police they saw him punch the window of a car parked across the street. Police issued a citation.
Saturday, Jan. 15
- A 47-year-old Doylestown woman was arrested for driving under the influence after police responded to a call about a single-car accident involving a struck pole on North Street. She was slurring her speech, had bloodshot eyes, smelled strongly of alcohol, and was very unsteady on her feet when exiting her car. She was taken into custody and transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. Police filed a criminal complaint.
- Someone stole a stop sign from the New Britain Town Center entrance at Lenape Drive.
Thursday, Jan. 20
- A 42-year-old Doylestown woman was arrested on N. Main Street for driving under the influence after police responded to a car accident. She had bloodshot and glassy eyes, smelled strongly of alcohol, and failed field sobriety tests. She was taken to Doylestown Hospital for a legal blood draw. Police filed a criminal complaint.
Saturday, Jan. 22
- A 47-year-old Jamison man was cited for public drunkenness on E. State Street in Doylestown after police responded to a call of a man vomiting on the sidewalk. He was found trying to enter an unoccupied parked car. He had slurred speech, smelled of alcohol, and was unsteady on his feet.
- A 27-year-old Warrington man was cited for disorderly conduct for public urination on E. Court Street in Doylestown.
Wednesday, Jan. 26
- A 27-year-old Doylestown woman was arrested on a simple assault charge after police responded to a domestic dispute on S. Clinton Street in Doylestown. While conducting their investigation, she began actively trying to talk to the victim, refused to move to a separate location, and eventually tried to push through officers in an effort to get to the victim. Police tried to take her into custody when she began resisting arrest. Once restrained, she was taken to police headquarters. Police filed a criminal complaint.
Friday, Jan. 28
- A 32-year-old Jenkintown man and a 20-year-old Elkins park woman were cited for an ordinance violation after soliciting for Ready Refresh on Union Street in Doylestown without a permit.
Sunday, Jan. 30
- A 33-year-old Perkasie man was arrested on a drug charge on N. Main Street in Doylestown. Police saw him urinating in public and approached him. They found him to be unsteady on his feet with slurred speech and an inability to follow simple directions. While in custody, police found that he was in possession of marijuana. Police filed a criminal complaint.
- A 45-year-old Phoenixville man was arrested for simple assault after police responded to an assault report at a W. State Street establishment. He was found inside with blood on his hands and shirt. When approached by police, he admitted to getting into a fight with the victim. He was taken into custody, and the victim was brought to Doylestown Hospital due to his injuries. Police filed a criminal complaint.
Monday, Jan. 31
- A 38-year-old Doylestown man was arrested for drugs on N. Main Street after police made a traffic stop and found drug paraphernalia in his possession. Police filed a criminal complaint.
