Michener Museum Seeks Photo Submissions For Upcoming Exhibition

The museum is accepting digital images for an upcoming art exhibition focusing on essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Michener Art Museum is accepting digital images for an upcoming art exhibition focusing on essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A committee of community and cultural leaders will select from about 20 to 25 images to be displayed in the exhibition, "Essential Work 2020: A Community Portrait," planned for viewing in the museum's Beans Gallery from March 19 - July 11.

The focus of the exhibition is "to identify how different people interpret what work is essential for our health, well-being, and a more equitable future."

No professional photography experience is necessary to apply, and smartphone photos are admissible.

Photos can be submitted here. The deadline is Jan. 15, 2021.
