Nat's Pizzeria Owner Survives 6-Week Battle With Coronavirus
Tim Wylie of Nat's Pizzeria said the staff at Doylestown Hospital saved his life. Local police escorted him home after the 6-week battle.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A local pizzeria owner has been released from the hospital after a six-week battle with coronavirus. Tim Wylie credits the staff at Doylestown Hospital for saving his life.
"Without their quick action and good judgment I would most likely not be here today. I am eternally grateful for all the amazing and brave individuals there," Wylie wrote in a post explaining his predicament on the Nat's Pizzeria Facebook page.

Last week, to mark his release, local police and fire officials escorted him home from the hospital, stopping by Nat’s Pizzeria for his employees and friends to cheer him on. (You can see a video of his discharge from the hospital and the parade below.)

Wylie thanked the community for its support, saying the prayers and well wishes "helped me get through this ordeal and provide me with strength when things were at their darkest. I am so grateful and so blessed to have so many wonderful and caring people in my life."
He thanked his staff at the pizzeria for working extra days to keep the restaurant running smoothly during his absence.

"There is still a long road ahead, but I am thankful to be on any road at all today. At this time, resting is critical to my quick recovery," he said
