New Britain Township has announced it will close its offices to the public until further notice beginning Monday, Nov. 30.
NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — In response to advice given by state officials to slow the spread of COVID-19, New Britain Township has announced it will close its offices to the public until further notice.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 30, staff will be working remotely wherever possible and residents looking to do township business must contact them by phone or email, officials said Tuesday.
Gov. Tom Wolf and Health Secretary Rachel Levine outlined new rules and restrictions on Monday intended to slow the spread of the coronavirus, including mandatory telework requirements for businesses and a stay-at-home advisory.

Pennsylvania has reported more than 314,000 coronavirus casus and more than 9,870 deaths since March. The pandemic has worsened in Bucks County, with nearly 300 new cases reported every day.
New Britain residents calling to schedule inspections for building permits should call 215-822-1391 ext. 305. Any paperwork must be dropped off or picked up in the marked mailboxes outside the front doors.
