Man Threatened To Shoot People, Prompting Shelter-In-Place: Police
The Central Bucks Regional Police Department have charged a 56-year-old man with making terroristic threats and simple assault.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — A 56-year-old Doylestown man faces charges after police say he threatened to shoot people at his Doylestown home Sunday afternoon.
Andrew Webster was arrested at his home on Broadale Road and charged with making terroristic threats and simple assault for an incident that resulted in a SWAT team response and a shelter-in-place order being issued for the area.
Police responded to the scene around 2:55 p.m. for the report of a man threatening to shot people at his home. The victim and other visitors left the home immediately and called police knowing that Webster had access to firearms inside his bedroom, police said.

The Central Bucks Regional Police Department issued a “Shelter in Place” for the surrounding area and initiated a SWAT response.
Webster was taken into custody at approximately 4:20 p.m. without incident. He was arraigned and bail was set at 10 percent of $60,000 with restrictions, including relinquishment of firearms and no contact with the victim.

Webster has been remanded to Bucks County Prison to await further court action.
